April 22, 2017 Cristina will be a speaker at the ABA Today conference in Melbourne. She will be presenting "The Importance of being Positive: Positive reinforcement to build student’s behaviour." www.abatoday.com.au/streams
Cristina is a former primary teacher and the parent of four children, two adult children with Aspergers.
She is an Education consultant, Behaviour therapist, an adult educator, facilitator and Parent educator.
She is in a unique position as she has experienced the educator's and the parent's perspective.
She is a graduate of the Autism Behavioural Science program of St. Lawrence College Kingston, Canada.
She is passionate about education and providing positive and practical strategies to educators and parents to support children with Autism.
Cristina was a speaker at the Victorian Autism conference 2012 and 2013 SAAIF Autism conference presenting “Becoming a Behaviour detective to improve difficult behaviour” She presented her poster "Behaviour Detective, Planning for Positive behaviour" at "ASPECT Autism in Education Conference" in Sydney, 2014.
She has been involved with Autism Spectrum Support groups for 16 years most recently Aspergers Victoria .
